Condoleezza Rice will soon respond to European allies about the pressure that has been put on Washington over the last few weeks. The U.S. has thus far refused to either confirm or deny the allegations of unfair treatment of terrorist suspects. My question is, and it is honest, with no hidden meaning; why? I am all for Rice defending our country against accusations of unconstitutional actions, but why don't they just come out and say no, we are not guilty. If anyone has any thoughts on the discretion, I'm all eyes.
